I've had this upright freezer for nearly a month. Works very well for us. One thing missing!
There needs to be a few LED lights on the door to indicate ok, low temp etc. you have to open door to see faults, come on now.

We bought this as a replacement to our chest freezer that finally quit. We had it for about 20 years. So far I love it. I do not have to bend over to reach all the way to the bottom. I like that I can put meat on one shelf, veggies on another. That way I can keep better track of what I have. I would recommend this freezer to anyone.

Needed a larger freezer with a reversible door. This one has that type of door and it fit perfectly where I placed it. Love the lighting inside as it's very bright.

I bought this freezer to replace a box type freezer that quit working. It took Lowes over a week to deliver, plugged it up and had it running for over 24 hours. It was cooling but did not ever reach freezing. I had to have surgery the Monday after it was delivered so I had stocked the freezer with food easily prepared for after surgery. It all ruined while we were at the hospital. We are awaiting a replacement from Lowes that should be delivered tomorrow. But we lost 2 freezers full of food this month! Nobody cares about helping out disabled folks on a fixed income in replacing the food. Hopefully the new freezer will work and we can get on with life post surgery.

While I am pleased with this freezer, I am so disappointed that it was not available in stainless so it would match my other kitchen appliances. Had I gotten the next size larger, it would not have fit in the allotted slot. I particularly like the LED light inside this freezer. My last one was not lit, and it was difficult to find things. I also like the wire shelves (opposed to glass) and the fact that they can be moved around.

I purchased this freezer about two months ago. I read most all of the reviews and was skeptical due to some of the less than wonderful ratings. Specially the temperature control, where as, there is only 3 modes available, wishing it had more. As I would like to have a energy efficient appliance as possible. I was hoping to run the freezer in the garage on the middle setting. I let it set for a few days as I didn't know how careful the delivery crew was. Purchased a freezer thermometer first thing and set the temp on the middle setting, with nothing in it, I was able to achieve the higher range of 'Freezing' Satisfied we loaded it partially with caution.
Satisfied with the freezer so far, its doing it's job. Noise level is fine, no problems so far. I would recommend to all of my friends. I'll check when, if, there is a problem.

So happy we bought this updight whirlpool freezer! So easy to open yhe door and find what you want as opposed to a horizontal freezer thst you have to dig through to see what uou have. It should come with more shelves. It could hold much more IF you didn't have to keep the middle open for airflow & the shelves had an up turn on the front to stop things from sliding forward.
